Community Care Codes: How Black Women in Beauty Are Leading With Intention in 2025

As the world around us shifts—politically, culturally, spiritually—Black women continue to lead. In beauty and beyond, our influence is not just visible, it’s transformative. And yet, leadership doesn’t always look like taking center stage. Sometimes, it’s choosing care over chaos. Sometimes, it's listening. Sometimes, it's being still.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we asked six dynamic leaders in beauty to share the Community Care Codes they live by—guiding principles that keep them grounded, generous, and growing. These aren’t just affirmations. They’re actions. They’re strategies for self-preservation and collective progress.
